Teliani Valley hosted a Georgian wine trade and media tasting and lunch at Concura, a highly acclaimed Italian restaurant in Houston, Texas on November 2, 2021.
Some of the top sommeliers, retailers, and media attended the tasting and lunch of eleven wines from the Teliani portfolio.
Ancestrial grapes, ancient teqniques, modern tools and revolutional wines were presented at the event: Rkatsiteli Qvevri, Kisi Qvevri and Kisiskhevis Saperavi from Glekhuri Qvevri wine series, “Wine People” Rkatsiteli 2018 by Kapanadze, as well as Amber Blend, Saperavi, Saperavi Selection, Kindzmarauli and Tsolikouri by Teliani Valley Winery97 special series.
As a surprising addition to the tasting, two older vintages, a 2004 Saperavi grown in Mukuzani PDO and 2011 Rkatsiteli to demonstrate how the two top Georgian varietals develop during aging. Tasting event was hosted by Teliani Valley, Georgian Wine House, Serendipity and Yuri Bujar.
